2019 Annual Summit and Portfolio CEO Panel
Wharton Alumni Angels held our Annual Member Summit at Wharton San Francisco on April 10, 2019. The all member meeting brought together our angel investors from around the world to discuss the state of the organization and plans for the future. Following the annual meeting, a panel discussion of three Wharton Alumni Angels portfolio CEOs was led by Bertrand Schmitt (WG’04), Co-founder and Chairman of App Annie, and an investor member of Wharton. Alumni Angels.
Panelists included Raphael Coelho - CEO, TutorMundi, Falon Fatemi - CEO, Node & Davi Macedo - CEO, Back4App who together discussed their diverse backgrounds, experiences starting a company and what it was like raising capital with Wharton Alumni Angels. The panelists brought unique perspectives on their company stages, industries and the countries in which they operate.
The member meeting was a closed session, and the panel was open to the public. The evening concluded with an opportunity for entrepreneurs, investors and the community to network, relax and enjoy refreshments at the beautiful Wharton San Francisco campus.
